There is something you can do: send her a postcard. (Slip it or a card in an envelope if outside the USA.) It doesn't have to be fancy. Aafia is partial to nature scenes. You can't talk about her case, but there isn't that much room on a postcard (or in a card), so any message would have to be short. All you really need to write is:
Dear Aafia,
We believe you. We are praying for you and your children and your mother.
I understand that a post card does not need a return address.
Aafia's address is:
Aafia Siddiqui

P.O. BOX 27137

To contact Aafia from outside the United States:

There are a few ongoing updates at the top of No More Crusades...and links to other pertinent sites..
will that post card be delivered to her?
ReplyDeleteNoor,
ReplyDeleteWe don't know for sure yet IF there's nothing political or about her case, we do believe it's worth the try. She has received such in the past. And as said in post, she is partial to nature scenes...so a card with nature scene or a post card with a lovely scene...these we pray & hope she will receive.
Ok. :)
ReplyDeleteDear Noor,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are interested.
And even a Rumi quote, Sura or something from nature or life you draw would be well-received by her, I'm sure. Let's not underestimate these little acts of compassion -- especially when done in prayer.
Warm Regards :)
