ACTION: No Amnesty for Torturers!

IF you are in the USA, you can send your signed (and if wished, personally written letter) to Congress

here

Here is the letter I just sent:

"They were only following orders" was no excuse for the Nazi war criminals and it's still NO excuse in this day & time & will only leave a legacy of NO Consequences for War Crimes, torture, extra-judicial executions, horrendous sexual harassment, psychological abuse, intimidation, religious mockery, threats of all the above and more.

Finally, this will only make the USA LESS respected, LESS safe and less likely to be listened to on many counts. How can we all in the West not see, hear and bleed with the millions who who are frustrated due to wars of occupation, the detaining of so many without charge or fair trial if trial at all? Of course, we are, with no prosecution of our own war criminals, much more likely to be push many others toward extremists US considers enemies.

How much agony can global citizens endure from America without justice?

Just what is the US wanting to role-model for other Secret Service people at home and abroad? - For others who imprison our own US - innocent or not? If no prosecution, the double-standard will allow and model anything goes.

What has happened with the Rule of Law? What has happened with the International Human Rights Accords which are LAW since we have signed them?

What sort of legacy are we leaving for our children and grandchildren? What sort of untenable future are we bestowing upon those we love for their own future tasks of peacemaking?

Please sign & send YOUR OWN letter (or simply sign suggested letter) to Your US Congress NOW:
