STORY: Three of 5 Bosnians FREED by Judge return home...

This photo was found posted on a European site January 2006 and identified by GTMO...Imagine 20 hours anything like this! What does this say about our nation? Unspeakably horrible...yet we must speak these human rights abuses until they are no more...

While FIVE were recently set free by the judge, ONLY THREE were able to return home to excitement and gatherings...YET, these three, even while completely cleared of any possible charge or reason to detain were still SHACKLED AND HOODED (most likely as they were taken to GTMO, so you can imagine all the returning trauma all the TWENTY hours or so it took to return to Bosnia...
AND
TWO were not allowed to go home with them for mysterious reasons, sounds like...even while one of them was key in the ruling for the three--this one is down to 129 pounds - according to his lawyer, is on a hunger strike & plans to stay on one until released...now is this justice, we must ask again & again until this monstrous treatment ends! I'm hoping someone like Bob Herbert at the NYTimes will be able to interview the key players, including the two still held at GTMO & their lawyer(s) at length...this kind of story repeated over & over again is NOT getting nearly enough air time...yet our American reputation, the wrath of much of the world & our own security are ALL at stake...More important, however, is how will be able to live with ourselves when our children & grands, nieces, nephews & neighbors ask someday: How could you let this happen? What were you & your leaders thinking?

Most important is to find our consciences pricked & smarting & to do nothing is to be complicit...

Please listen to Nina interview a key lawyer in this case and hear her poignant narration of this horrendous treatment...Go
