Ramzan: My Third Day - Comfort from Hafiz for us all

This is dedicated to a precious "little brother" and friend who just lost the 3rd person of his beloved family to murder.

Credit to British artist Kulvinder Kaur Dhew has journeyed into the realm of black and white in a series of 24 charcoal drawings shown in the exhibition “Tempest”. More here

Our union is like this:

You feel cold so I reach for a blanket to cover our shivering feet.

A hunger comes into your body so I run to my garden and start digging potatoes.

You asked for a few words of comfort and guidance and I quickly kneel by your side...
0ffering you a whole book as a gift.

You ache with loneliness one night so much you weep, and I say
here is a rope, tie it around me,
Hafiz will be your companion for life...

hmmm...very impressive...indeed...

I wonder how love makes wonders in this world....even why humans need anything else when love is capable of everything....?

Dear Connie...I only heard of Hafiz and because of you I have finaly read him...thanks for such beautiful post.

Dear Friend,

Yes and I consider you and the special gifts to come even out of your own experience with pain. Hafiz wants to be a good friend for you.

My daughter and I already embrace his comfort now for years.
You will understand him more than most folk - his deep spiritual psychology, his playfulness, his metaphors. Enjoy...
