See Dahr Jamail as he writes his well-researched and experienced Op Ed and News Reports relevant to Af-Pak - See especially his -... Hearts & Minds item as prelude to his unique interesting more recent report on how the Pentagon uses anthropological scholars on the field in other lands...are these scholars loosening their code of ethics in their love & service to the army? you can find Jamail in a number of places - Mosaic, Truthout, on his own site and more...

I have been following him since he first reported from Iraq years ago and he looks like he has only gotten better - and started out really professional yet caring...I especially have loved his personal stories about his driver, the maker of a library in the midst of the killing in Iraq, etc.
