Widening the gate to America's 'dark period'

Find this article HERE I want to spend much more time with this article which looks like one of the more forceful and yet somehow also rarely moving clarion call to RENEWED PRINCIPLES.

This "Widening the gate..." article reminds me of a rare one I posted a few days ago - PRINCIPLES Instead of Benefits AS GOALS: Commentary from Pakistani Scholar - Find this item HERE Read and re-read with surprising and valuable benefit, personally and for us all. (I have and will.)

I will wait to write more on these PRINCIPLES or post any more today since I want to highlight a precious person who was just stoned to death - a young woman, Delara Darabi and I want to send up prayers for and empathy to - her family - and on behalf of all the young girls who have learned of this bestial stoning event. There are so many young women who face their own angst, fears, angers, frustrations, unhealed places and who need our special global heart during this somber time for Iran and for the whole world.

We must need pray and find ways to speak compassionately and with some manner of understanding as well for those involved throwing the stones (real and metaphorical)- for recognition of community complicity, for courage to stand up against such pressures, for change and for healing. (as we are trying to do in the US as well among those in the medical profession involved in the torture and macabre of our own nation's executions.)

How do we willingness to confess individually and corporately for national crimes? How and when do we discern when to seek law and when mercy?

See the post on Delara Darabi below.
