Two Legal Complaints: OAS Hearing-CCR//Also Michael Haynes: Towards Prosecution of Former US Officials - Violations include Torture

ONE:
On Friday, March 20, 2009 in front of the Organization of American States (OAS) Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) President Michael Ratner, along with ACLU/Human Rights,USA argued that U.S. officials must be held accountable for human rights violations such as torture, that GTMO has not been restored to the Rule of Law, that detainees are still being held at GTMO beyond court stated release, that the Army Field Manual does not meet the approval - in every aspect - of Rights Lawyers and other experts, that BAGRAM and other places where US has been administrating torture is not being held accountable and more. This on a live webcast that was held Friday, March 20, from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at http://www.oas.org/OASpage/Live, the website of the Organization of American States.
