"CIRCLE of LIGHT and HOPE" group Salt and Light for ALL nations

From Whom Shall We Be Taught Concerning That Which Makes For Peace?

Maybe we might say in ONLY pragmatic terms "worthless gathering", "uneven playing field", or "not news-savvy enough" but alas who are we to see who has the secrets to history? Is there really any "corner on the market" or any definitive standard by which to know how peace will come when it does? Is this quiet effort of the blessed peacemakers not in keeping with the poets, prophets, seers and the best of our most trusted spiritual traditions?

Who's to say how much good this will carry over time and how many reminders from our distant and not-so-distant past?

[iea-reports] Second encounter of "Circle of Light and Hope" group - met: October 5th, 2009 sent Sunday, October 11, 2009 6:20 AM from "Yehuda Stolov"

(REPORT) The second encounter of the "Circle of Light and Hope" group, the joint Israeli-Palestinian group of the Interfaith Encounter Association and the Palestinian Peace:

As Nael was not able to host us in his farm, we went to the home of Taleb, which is in the edge of Idna and is easily accessible.

For more than three hours we were chatting, studying, asking each other questions etc. Before the planned conversation we looked at Taleb's collection of minerals and fossils and learned from each other about the meaning of our names. Then we began our main conversation, dedicated to the Jewish Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles) , during which the encounter took place. We talked about the Feast nourishing the memory of the Israelite exodus from Egypt and about the universal nature of it – sacrifices were made in the Temple for ALL nations; the prophetic vision makes it as the time of pilgrimage of ALL nations to the Temple ; etc.

During our time together we enjoyed delicious tea and fruits from Taleb's yard.

So beautiful is these sights of men prostrating, praying, and finding comfort and attachment with the One that is the only hope that is out there, the kind, the beautiful, the all knowing Beloved.
